Storemax provides repair facilities for Chip and Pin EFT devices in a specialist lab area configured to meet banking standards for handling secure encryption keys. This specialist capability is currently used to repair a range of ruggedised mobile computing products without the need to return them to the manufacturer’s factory in Japan. This provides for a fast turnaround of products and reduces a retailer’s need to invest in excess devices to accommodate long repair cycles.
As well as specialist hand-held devices, Storemax are also able to repair its own and third-party PC based PoS terminals and peripheral equipment down to component level.

In the event of a manufacturer having to implement a modification programme, Storemax can provide appropriate technical and logistics services to manage the upgrade of equipment and control of buffer stock. All of this activity can be programme managed to minimise disruption and costs.
