Configuring and Hangering

Storemax is able to offer a wide range of services to exactly configure and fully test a customer’s specific configuration of PoS control unit, peripherals and software. This activity can include the installation of specific components, such as micro-processors, memory or disc, to exactly tailor the equipment to meet performance or budgetary constraints.

As well as operating system, a complete customised “Gold Build” can be pre-loaded onto each system and fully unit tested. A full peripheral set can be tested with each device and complete installation kits assembled prior to despatch. This enables a retailer to quickly install equipment and reduce disruption in the store to a minimum.

On equipment despatch, Storemax can provide full asset tracking facilities as required for inventory or warranty management. Once configured, customer equipment can be stored in a bonded area in the warehouse to support just-in-time deployments.

With 8,000 square feet of warehousing, equipment can be palletised for fast loading by fork-lift onto customer or Storemax provided transport.
